OOC DISCUSSION/RULES

This roleplay will take place during a war that's been raging for centuries between vampires, werewolves and humans. You will roleplay as member of one of the societies; if you wish, you can even create one character from each different background. I am not going to put a limit on characters this time around, but please be reasonable and try to keep up with your characters. This is a general roleplay and the main plot is the war between the three societies. You may come up with plots on your own and some small ones may be introduced later.

Within each society, there are different classes and you must choose one.

HUMANS: They are not immortal but some have the skill and the will to fight, even though they are often underestimated.
Oblivious: They are oblivious to the war, but are somehow caught up in it. For whichever reason; you decide.
Slayers: They fight against the vampires and/or werewolves.
Traitors: They have betrayed their own race and are siding with one of the other societies; some promised immorality or fortune if they do.
Keys: Keys are people who are important to their society, whether because they are highly valued, possess important information, family of valued members, etc
Sorcerers: They don't possess any real magic but are knowledgeable with powders, potions, herbs and spells. They can't do mind control.

VAMPIRES: Vampires are immortal creatures either previously bitten and made a vampire or born as one. They do not turn to ash the moment sun touches them but it will severely burn them, and if kept in the sun too long; they can die. Unlike typical folklore, crosses do not cause them much pain, but they try to avoid them. Their blood is able to heal wounds at decent pace depending on the one giving and receiving.
Hiding: They are aware of the war but they do not fight; some may have 'retired' from the war and don't want anything more to do with it.
Warriors: They fight against the humans and/or werewolves.
Traitors: They have betrayed their own race and are siding with one of the other societies; some promised fortune or something else in return.
*Elders: The oldest of their kind and they possess more power.
Keys: Keys are people who are important to their society, whether because they are highly valued, possess important information, family of valued members, etc

WEREWOLVES: Werewolves are immortal creatures that can be in sunlight unlike vampires. They appear human until there's a full moon and some are able to control the change and do it whenever they want, or not do it at all. Freshly turned werewolves are unlikely to have this control. Silver hurts them.
Hiding: They are aware of the war but they do not fight; some may have 'retired' from the war and don't want anything more to do with it.
Warriors: They fight against the humans and/or vampires.
Traitors: They have betrayed their own race and are siding with one of the other societies; some promised fortune or something else in return.
*Elders: The oldest of their kind and they possess more power.
Keys: Keys are people who are important to their society, whether because they are highly valued, possess important information, family of valued members, etc

* Note: Elders are a very important part of the society, and are not playable at this point as their power can be easily abused. Once we get the roleplay going, this may become an option. You may reference NPC Elders when you are roleplaying, (for example; Emily had no choice but to betray the elders wishes and go out on her own. She had to find Sully and time was running out) - again, just DON'T abuse it (for example; Emily shined with a radiant glow, knowing that the elder had picked her to be his bride and the future queen.)

MIX BREEDS: Mix Breeds are the select few creatures that possess characteristics of two of the three societies. Either; human/vampire, human/werewolf, or vampire/werewolf. In order for this to happen, you must have been BORN that way. These are rare.

General Rules:
  • No godmodding or powerplaying.
  • No Mary/Gary Sues (the perfect unbeatable powerful character, etc)
  • You may introduce and control NPC characters (for example a close friend, pet or sibling) without making a profile for them. If you decide to have an NPC however, please include their name and perhaps a bit of information about them in the NPC area in the template. Do not abuse NPC characters, as having too many can get confusing for everyone.
  • This is humans, vampires and werewolves with minimal shapeshifting. Please do not introduce other fantasy like creatures that don't belong!
  • All discussions, questions and concerns can be posted here!
  • Please be respectful of other roleplayers, and have fun!

If you have any questions, let me know! I'm also open to ideas and suggestions!
