No Mary/Gary Sues (the perfect unbeatable powerful character, etc)
You may introduce and control NPC characters (for example a close friend, pet or sibling) without making a profile for them. If you decide to have an NPC however, please include their name and perhaps a bit of information about them in the NPC area in the template. Do not abuse NPC characters, as having too many can get confusing for everyone.
This is humans, vampires and werewolves with minimal shapeshifting. Please do not introduce other fantasy like creatures that don't belong!
Only characters should be posted here. If I think anything needs to be changed, I'll let you know via pm =]

Amalthea hasn't been very social since she was bit and turned into a vampire. She was vengeful of the vampire that turned her, she hated the werewolves because they attacked her family, she no longer fit into the human world and for the longest time she was mournful. However, she has become very confident and sure of herself - she's had a long time to get to know herself and she knows exactly what she wants and she wouldn't have it any other way. Amalthea is bold, but can be reckless. She can come across as cold and distant, but secretly she longs for the life she lost.

History:
Amalthea was born into a hard working but poor family who tended a farm. She did chores all throughout the day and had a normal but satisfying life up until her mid twenties. She had a husband and a young daughter but everything was taken from her. Their family had not been aware of the dangers lurking every night close by, sometimes attacking their livestock. One night her daughter, who often talked and walked in her sleep, managed to find herself outside in the middle of a cold winter night. When the horrible animals began to do their rounds, they found something much more satisfying instead. Amalthea and the rest of her family were awaken from the chilling screams, and a cold winter night turned into a blood bath. The vampires who tried to keep the werewolves at bay, and their secrets hidden from humans failed to save all of her family, but for whatever reason she was spared. Amalthea prayed for them to kill her; she did not want to live without her child, husband and her family. They refused to kill her, but one vampire was not going to have any of it and decided against her will and the other vampires, to turn her into one. She has not seen him in over 240 years, but she is always looking for him.

Though there will always be that darkness hanging over - Amalthea has overcome a lot and always pushes forward. She fights mainly against the werewolves, and tends to ignore human slayers unless they get in her way. She hunts nightly for werewolves stalking the city and the outskirts, hoping she can do what others before her failed to. While Amalthea keeps to herself, she is apart of a coven of vampires who are much like her; warriors. She protects the coven, and the keys and elders that belong to it, seeing it as her duty and they are very resourceful.

Strengths: Amalthea has grown in many ways since becoming a vampire; she is faster, stronger, and better. She is skilled in the field of fighting and weapon wielding; including swords and guns. She can read people quite easily.
Weaknesses: Amalthea's emotions can be her down fall. While she wears a masks and acts cold and distant, she longs for the life she lost and because of that she does not feed off or trouble humans. If a human is in trouble, she might just go out of her way to save them which is a waste of time in most vampires thoughts.

Weapon of Choice: Two semi-automatic pistol golden pistols she had specially crafted for her by someone working in the weapons department at her coven. She always carries extra ammo and silver rounds when hunting werewolves. For close range, she uses a katana.
