The greatest romances...
I'm looking for some girly and/or sappy romance anime to watch. Recommend something to me! ANd then, hopefully, others can find some recommendations too via this thread.
These are some that I've seen: AIR Ayashi no Ceres CCS Chobits Clannad Fruits Basket Itazura na Kiss Kannon Kimi ni Todoke Kuragehime Romeo X Juliet Skip Beat! Special A Spice and Wolf Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Tons of others too, but there's a few so you can figure out my tastes. I love a bit of comedy and melodrama too, just so you know.

I would recommend Special A and Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama. Both are super animes that I absoultly loved.

Quite old topic but I actually think that toradora was down to earth about how it approached romance. And i quite loved it, seriously. It's just the fact that most of the other anime out there try to drown most fans in fanservice(in harem yes) but toradora just had so little of it. I mean yeah, the odd pantsu shot or two but the anime is just overkill for me when i watched it. I had to watch it late in the morning because i wanted to cry with no one asking me(WHY ARE YOU CRYING?). Obviously I can't explain to them why XD
Also another anime that i really thought was really roman-cy was zero no tsukaima. The whole story was just, out of place. But the character development between Louise and Saito was just unbelievable. It's so amazingly quirky and interesting that you'll stray away from the story. |
