agreed there is no such thing as off topic, when it comes to talking to japan XD!. Okinowa is what i would consider the most beautiful place in the world. And going in summer with the sakura blossoms its so breath taking. be sure to hike a few trails while your there, and fishing there is just a blast, the shrines absolutely beautiful, and i could go on for hours.!

I can solve the off topic point later, I might ask Sekirei if I can make a japan section that talks about things other than Anime and Manga.

When I do go, it wont quite be summer but I'll probably make that the time I go next time around.
I'll be there for the new year, so I will expect there'll be the fair share of things to do.
I'll improvise and surprise myself.

well thats the beauty of Okinowa, its georgious all year around. Its best time is spring, but thats ok :P The winter is my favorite time of year there :P!

I might see what there is to do on Google, It'll give me a rough idea of what to expect. My brother says most of Japan is quite nice in winter.

What do you think about teaching there?
I really want to teach English, since it something I've wanted to do for a long time.
I can't tolerate British kids or I would have already started training here, I want fresh, new people who don't speak my language to a higher level. Well to say, kids these days don't even speak proper English.

well teaching in asia is very easy to do for foreigners, so best of luck, but youll need at least a bachelors for them to even consider you. Plus you have ot note people are paid here very little, and japan is the same way in respect ot the Ero, # or even the USD. If you can hadnle working for a low payment even with your bachelors degree then by all means come and teach and enjoy it.

I would recomend if you want, teach in UK first, and make neough money to pay off any loans you have, then go when your done :P!

Well frankly I couldn't care about how much I got paid, I just see it as something I'll enjoy.
I can't think of anything else that would make me happier, I'm very skilled at computers both hardware and software yet it doesn't interest me regardless of the fact that I could easily build a career from it.
I'll most likely apply at the Open University to get a degree since its the most versatile.
If anything I'll apply with jet to become an ALT first whilst I work my way up.
