So, of course the tree fell yesterday. I got it back up and secured quite quickly.
But then when I watered it, the tree stand started leaking. I had to lift the entire thing into a bin while I went out to get a new one. Everything (lights and decorations) had to come off the tree to get it into the new tree stand. Now the tree stands up perfectly fine with a brand new, super sturdy tree stand. Well, at least now I can say I've strung a Christmas tree with lights all on my own for the first time. It's definitely the most interesting Christmas tree experience I've had! Woo, just a few more decorations and the tree skirt, and this thing will look beautiful again. (Oh, and it's now been dubbed the "lazy tree" because it lied down on the job haha) |
