Manual labour is the most important. Would the would you have the job you do now if manual workers downed tools and decided they wanted a desk job?
No emotion in a Dojo, that's absurd! The key isn't to be emotionless, you make mistakes, quite obvious ones. I've had no sort of training in anyway, yet I can fight pretty well because I work with who I am, not shut myself out. Still doesn't change the fact That I'm a malicious, arsehole. tis true about the labor, i dont mind it, unlike my lazy ass siblings a think a good day of manual labor makes you feel good, whne you finish the labor you feel better that you had a hand in w/e it was you were working on XD!>
As for Dojo's I did mention that i was talking to Dojos in Japan and China, not in Great Britian. ANd what i was refering to is that they beleive that holding emotions in a dojo only clouds your mind from seeing what is truely the problem or solution. If you hold anger you will focus more on the thing you are angry at, if you hold joy you will focus more on what is making you happy, if you hold fear, you will have trouble overcomming obsticales, i fyou hold compassion, you could confuse many situations. I cannot speak for all Dojo's but i can say if you ever go to one in China or Japan, and show emotion, half of the sensai's will rip you a new ass whole until you learn to not do it anymore XD! |
