Ive got 2 brothers the older one went to karate his 14 and really thin, the younger one who's 5 and Ben 10 aholic came last year to karate that was really funny cause he hugged the sensei, sensei gave a funny look and pushed him away and said sturnly we don't hug in this dojo

Either that or again if its a man they felt emasculated by a child. Not that the karate isn't already doing that. |

well that depends, some dojo trainers dont allow emotion in the dojo because it crowds the clear heads you should have while learning the arts.

at my dojo you were allowed to show emotion as long as you stayed on track and are still disiplined |
