CHARACTER PROFILES

This roleplay will be set in modern times (in a typical city setting), taking place a few days into an outbreak of a deadly virus that brings the dead back to life, and can possibly cause mutation in it's host. It's transferred by a bite, or scratch. A few hours after the initial infection, the one infected would have died and thus been brought back to life by the virus. The roleplay would be semi based on Resident Evil, and very similar to any other zombie games like Dead Rising or even Left 4 Dead. Though original characters are a must. Note: This roleplay will contain violence, gore, and maybe even some sexual material.

Rules and Info Regarding Characters:

• All characters must be original. Please do not use existing characters from Resident Evil, etc.
• You may have as many characters as you want but they must have a profile, and please don't overdo it.
• If you make multiple characters, please put them all in one post. Each in a quote, if possible! Looks neater!
• They can be whatever age, as long as they act like it. We don't want to see some smart ass seven year old that's packing heat.
• You can use NPC's as long as their cameo is short and sweet. We don't want to see you controlling dozens of characters.
• No mythical characters, like vampires, elves, and half cats. Human characters only!

Kik's Characters

Name: Dr. Carlyle Thatcher
Age: 36
Occupation: Doctor
Race: Caucasian

Appearance: Carl is tall and relatively built; he goes for evening jogs but doesn't do too much to keep fit, just eats healthy. He usually stayed clean shaven before the outbreak but since then he hasn't bothered to shave the stubble that's on his face and chin. He always wore a suit or his doctors coat, and still likes to dress nice. A wedding ring can also be seen on his finger, but his wife and children were killed in the chaos.

Personality: Carl was your friendly family doctor until he lost everyone he loved. He's now crawled back into a shell and has become fairly reckless; not caring about his life because he thinks it's not worth living without his family. He might go out of his way to save someone else, but he doesn't care about putting himself in harms way. Before the outbreak, he was respectable, and a leader; so hints of his old personality might shine through in certain situations.
Likes: Family, children, drinking, fixing things.
Dislikes: Drugs, cigarettes, and things that remind him of his family; even though he refuses to take his wedding ring off.

Strengths/Skills: He's intelligent and hard working, even though it doesn't seem like it now. You would never guess he was a doctor until you see how he works with wounds. Since he's worked with so many people and patients, he can read people fairly easily.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Carl can be pretty stubborn at times, and sometimes can't control himself, especially when he's been drinking.

Brief History: Carlyle was a respected doctor and worked with many different kinds of patients and wounds. He had a wife and two children before the outbreak, but all three were killed at the hospital he worked at. He was one of the first few people to see the effects of the outbreak, because many people who had been attacked came to the hospital seeking help and eventually turned into a zombie. Since the outbreak, he's grown determined to figure out the cause and occasionally does experiments on infected.

Name: Michelle Jacobs (Nickname: Miche)
Age: 25
Occupation: Reporter
Race: Caucasian

Appearance: Michelle has a slender build and a model like face with strong cheekbones, thin lips and almond shaped eyes that are a magnetic blue. Her brown locks fall down past her shoulders in loose curls, which she wears in a variety of styles depending on the occasion. She always has a very professional look to her, often wearing woman's suits and uniforms.

Personality: Michelle is a very confident person, sometimes too confident. She can sometimes come off as arrogant, but she is generally likable as long as you don't get in her way. She can be a tad secretive at times, especially if she doesn't trust or know you very well. She tends to keep to herself since she spends a lot of time doing her work or staying late at the office.
Likes: Michelle loves to write, and get down to the bottom of things. She can be very determined if she's found something interesting, and will stick with it until the end. She likes her job, and is very dedicated to it so it takes up most of her time. Other than that, she likes to; go camping, running, swimming, hiking, and general things to keep up her shape. She loves romantic movies, novels, and guys - and the occasional glass of wine.
Dislikes: Michelle hates when people use her, underestimate her, get in her way or steal her stories. She can't stand people who constantly want to be the center of attention, and people that are over dramatic about little things.

Strengths/Skills: Michelle can be pretty resourceful. Being a reporter, she is used to be doing she shouldn't be; like cracking into computers and getting into locked buildings. She's also fast because she is into a lot of athletic activities that keep her fit, and agile. She's also handled a gun a few times throughout her reporter career.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: One of Michelle's weaknesses is that she isn't very trusting, she's been hurt and betrayed a few times in the past so she's developed a trust issue that isn't easily swayed. Because of this, she holds friendships and relationships in high regard and isn't easily forgiving if you hurt her in some way.

Brief History: Michelle grew up in Raccoon City in an average home with your average family. She excelled in drama and English throughout school and was always quite happy until she had her heart broken a few times. Now, she's slightly introverted and isn't easily trusting. Before the outbreak, she was working her job and working on a story. She tends to spend her time alone in her apartment building, exercising, or going for lone walks along the beach, forest, city, anywhere. She became a reporter after attending college, and has been working as one ever since. She covers local news that revolves around anything, but she loves challenges.

Age: 25
Occupation: Contract Killer

Appearance:
Kevin is tall and thin with a slight muscular build, but you wouldn't think so just by looking at him. His hair is usually a dark mess, almost looking as if he had just woken up. His brows and dark and thick, giving him a rather serious look most of the time. He likes to wear dark clothes, often being suits or layered jackets.

Personality: Kevin has never been much of a people person. He has always been a serious guy with a "my way or the high way" attitude and can often come off as arrogant. He'll only seek help if he has no other options left, and even then he won't be too happy about it. He can sometimes come off as flirty with the right kind of girl, but he never keeps one around for too long.
Likes: Kevin likes solitude, and taking care of himself. A gun, a bottle of whiskey, a clean suit, a pack of smokes and the occasional lay will keep him happy. He doesn't live a normal life, so he usually isn't into normal things.
Dislikes: He hates when other people get in his way, bother him, or try to tell him what to do. He's very organized and likes things done a specific way; cleanly and quietly.

Strengths/Skills: Kevin is very strong, confident, fast, and great with a gun. Most of his life he's been trained to be a stealthy, clean, quiet killer.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Kevin doesn't really know how or when to ask for help, even in a tough situation- he'd rather take the hit then seek help from someone to prevent himself from getting hurt. He isn't a people person, so he doesn't communicate very well either.

Brief History: Kevin is a business man of sorts. He got tied up in the family business, which isn't known for donating to charity or making the world a better place. Though through the eyes of the people that hire him, that's a possibility. He's a contract killer that's seen almost everything; children wanting their parents dead to inherit their money, wives and husbands wanting their spouses dead because they caused them a lifetime of grief, and other business men who just want to take out the competition. He never thought he'd see the day when the dead walked the earth though.

Name: Naoto
Age: 23
Occupation: Unknown
Ethnicity: Asian

Appearance: Naoto is an average sized girl with extremely long, naturally straight, dark hair with a few bleached, colored strands. Before the outbreak, she wore white contacts and dark, thick eyeliner around her eyes, but since then she has refrained from waring the contacts, but still manages to give herself her signature "raccoon eyes".
She usually wears black clothing, and never shows off her arms or legs. Not even now after the outbreak.
Personality: Naoto is a loner, she has her small group of friends and that's how she likes it. The only reason she even has those friends is because she's known them since birth practically. She only talks to someone if they talk to her and if someone is even the slightest bit rude to her, she'll snap.
But underneath the all the hate that she seems to give out, Naoto is a caring person who just wants to help others and see her friends succeed.
She can't even watch a bug die.
Likes: Naoto loves death metal way too much for her own good, music is her life and is the only things that has gotten through the difficult times in her life. She plays the bass and has been trying to learn Anesthesia Pulling Teeth for almost her whole life.
She likes sex too. Too bad she's never gotten any.
Dislikes: Naoto has an authority problem and doesn't like to be told what to do. She goes about her own way in most situations, unless there was something as crazy as a zombie apocalypse, but come one. What are the chances of that happening?

Strengths/Skills: She can play a mean bass. But in serious, she is very fast on her feet, very stealthy and can blend in at night. She holds two knifes on her and can use them like a pro.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Naoto has absolutely no strength in her arms at all. She can't make plans if it was the last thing she did, which is why she listens to her superiors in this case.

Brief History: The only people that know about Naoto's past is her close friend Mally, and she passed away during the chaos of the outbreak. But the little that is known proves that Naoto hasn't had the best of lives, her parents were abusive and never approved of Naoto, always yelling and calling her names.
When Naoto left the house when she was 18, she rented an apartment with her guy friend, Aiden and they developed feelings for eachother.
Aiden passed away in the outbreak, along with the small amount of people Naoto cared about.
She is fearless, and seeking revenge.
