Haha, I can't argue with that.
One downfall to watch out for, however, is the vulnerability with the cords themselves.
Knots, tangles or any kind of damage will instantly spell trouble for the entire equipment.
For wireless you only have to worry about the hardware itself, since its synchronization capabilities are solely dependent on distance. XD
