To me this forum has a lot of potential.

lol Im sure youll do fine, just do what i do with my GM and Admin powers, be 100% fair in everythign you do, dont take staff sides, dont take guests sides, just stick to whats fair, both parties have to loose and gain somethign in order to make a fair decision. :P

I always like to offer my help and usualy it pays more to not ask for anything in return. In my career you have to learn to sacrafice your time and efforts to give someone what they want, but even though you do no tget something in return at that moment, they can owe you a favor, and for some those favors are alot better then a title, or money that would be given in place of the favor.

We call it networking :)!

Ah but things have a better feel when they have a title.
Not that I actually believe that, I went for the position I did because I want to contribute around here, In more ways than just posting, and expressing my opinion.

Well as a side note to what was said before, I already have a nice title XD! National Exec. Corp. Pastry Chef. The only advance I can get from that title is to change National to International. Even if the company offers me partner, my title wont change XD!

So i like the owe ya one favors alot more then some cash or some title. :P.

I am also from the US, as I have said on other threads, but currently working in China!

Is there a difference in Pastry chef work in the US or China? I know Asian deserts seem to be alot less sweet compared to the US.

I have not been to bejing long enough to see the great wall yet, although i will have time later this summer, and i flew over it on my way from the US to CHina.

Their Desserts tend to be a little less sweet because they are not raised on candy like most countries are, as children their snacks are chicken feet, and spiced noodels, and pickled vegetables.

Not bad as I have to say i rather enjoy a decent savory snack.

But they do like sweet things as long as they are not overly sweet, for example they can eat a cookie, but cant eat a chocolate bar. you can buy a snickers here, they do sell them, but they have less sugar, and taste really fucked up ! XD!
